REFUGEE COMMUNITY ORGANISATION (RCO) DEVELOPMENT:
MRSN Advice Development Service also promotes the role of refugee information and advice services as a key component of integration and social inclusion strategies by empowering refugee community organisations to increase their capacity to deliver advice services
- Linking Refugee Community Organisations (RCOs) into key strategic groups, which will increase awareness among statutory organisations of RCOs' contribution to early intervention and prevention;
- Improving understanding and networking between mainstream advice agencies and RCOs;
- Improving the access of RCOs to information and training resources and increase their capacity to deliver good quality information services to their communities
- Improving the quality of bi-lingual information and advice provided by RCOs
We also provide training to our refugee community organisations
VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT:
We provide free training for our community volunteers in a variety of advice skills and issues.
