Community Development

The Community Development Project provides practical help, tailored training and advice to new and established refugee community organisations on organisational, funding and other capacity building issues.

We work with over 50 refugee organisations in Greater Manchester.

We publish a bi-monthly newsletter on issues affecting asylum seekers and refugees including funding news, job opportunities, events, training and volunteering opportunities as well as project news of our organisation.

We publish an annual directory of over 60 refugee groups and refugee supporting agencies across Greater Manchester. If you want to order a paper copy of our Directory or want to be included in the directory, please email Mary at mary@mrsn.org.uk.

We provide meeting room space and access to IT resources for Refugee Community Organisations.
