Immigration Advice Service

Our Immigration advice services provides advice and advocacy in immigration and nationality matters. We help individuals, as well as families, to obtain refugee status, leave to remain, settlement and British citizenship.

We are registered with the Offices of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC), Ref No. N201900070, and a number of our staff and volunteers are qualified to provide advice up to OISC Level 2 for asylum and up to Level 2 for immigration. We provide immigration advice in compliance with current OISC Regulations.

What times are available each week?

  • Every Tuesday by appointment only – at 129 Princess Road, Moss side, M14 4RB. To book an appointment/refer a client please email alex@mrsn.org.uk or bridget@mrsn.org.uk or come to our drop-in service to explain what you need an appointment for.
  • Every Wednesday drop in session 10am to 4pm – at St James Church, 95a Princess Road, Moss side, M14 4TH. Attending a drop-in session does not require prior appointment and clients are seen on first come first serve basis.

What services do we provide?

We provide advice on a number of issues:

  • Leave in Line applications
  • Certificates of Travel
  • Application for fee waiver
  • Advice about extended leave.
  • British passport applications
  • Aspen card issues
  • Travel Documents or any other late applications

We can advise on more complex asylum issues, and if we can’t help we can refer you to an organisation that can help you or we will provide you with a list of qualified legal representatives/solicitors.
