At MRSN, we help asylum seekers and refugees get the basic support they need to live with dignity. We strive to help them build safe, happy and productive lives in the UK. Our aims are:
To support refugees to access services and opportunities on an equal basis, in order to prevent all forms of poverty and allow individuals to fulfil their potential.
To educate refugees and asylum seekers on their rights and responsibilities as active citizens, and contribute to positive media representation of refugees.
To empower refugees to establish strong community organisations and provide platforms for them to represent the needs and aspirations of their communities.
What We Can Do
Manchester Refugee Support Network exists to support refugees living within Greater Manchester. We run a number of advice, services and projects in order assist in person and on the phone.

New refugees (within last 10 months)
We offer holistic longer term support to assist you, through our Refugee Integration Service.
Asylum Seeker Support
Our Asylum Guide Project offers support to people navigating the asylum process.
Destitution Project
If you require food parcels and/or other necessities, get in touch here.
Check in and Chat Scheme
Weekly phone calls to support clients struggling with loneliness or with practicing English.
Shared Routes Project
Our skills training program for people from migrant backgrounds.

This scheme reduces social isolation and increase integration experiences for people over 60.
Health and Wellbeing Project
Weekly sessions cover, physical exercise, football, workshops on healthy living, employment information and other important issues.
