Refugee Cultural Festival

On Saturday 18th June at Manchester Art Gallery MRSN held a special Refugee Cultural Festival. This event was part of the MRSN Heritage Project and aimed to help people from across the city to focus on the history of MRSN during Refugee Week. There were a number of exciting acts and performances; including Neda Naser, the City of Sanctuary Choir, Refugee Boy by Chorlton High School and Still We Rise, performed by WAST (WAST)-Women Asylum Seekers Together.

There was also a chance to look at what we have been doing on our heritage project and identify some of the faces and place on our vast collection of photographs.
